Special Meeting


The Board of Selectmen held a Special Meeting at 6:00 PM on Monday, April 22, 2013 in the Meeting Hall of the Old Lyme Memorial Town Hall. First Selectwoman Bonnie Reemsnyder, Selectwoman Mary Jo Nosal and Selectman Skip Sibley were present.

  • To approve a resolution authorizing First Selectwoman Bonnie A. Reemsnyder to sign the STEAP grant for $229,750 for the Rogers Lake Dam Project
As the authorization to approve the agreement between the State of Connecticut and the Town of Old Lyme must be within the last 12 months, Selectman Sibley moved to approve a resolution authorizing First Selectwoman Bonnie A. Reemsnyder to sign the STEAP grant for $229,750 for the Rogers Lake Dam Project. Selectwoman Mary Jo Nosal seconded the motion. SO VOTED.

  • To approve a resolution authorizing First Selectwoman Bonnie A. Reemsnyder to sign the contract with the Connecticut State Library for an Historic Documents Preservation Grant.
The Town Clerk has applied for a Historic Documents Preservation Grant through the Connecticut State Library that would digitize land and other records, as well as put some records online.  Authorization to sign the agreement must be approved after the application is submitted.  Selectwoman Mary Jo Nosal moved to approve a resolution authorizing First Selectwoman Bonnie A. Reemsnyder to sign the contract with the Connecticut State Library for an Historic Documents Preservation Grant. SO VOTED.


Selectman Sibley moved to adjourn the special meeting at 6:05 PM.  Selectwoman Nosal seconded the motion.  SO VOTED.
